Former DJ & Live Sound Setups

I had a brief stint DJing live sets at local venues. Even though my time DJing was short, it was great fun getting hands-on with Pioneer decks, mixers, live audio routing, and playing music for a crowd.

It also sparked a lasting interest in sound systems, audio hardware, and how live setups are wired and balanced.

SPEC 02.A // ELECTRICAL FAULT ISOLATION

Circuit & Harness Testing

Supply & Ground Checks: Verifying 12V/5V rails and checking earth straps for high resistance or corrosion.
Continuity & Shorts: Pin-to-pin wiring harness checks to isolate broken conductors or short-to-ground faults.
Load & Draw Testing: Measuring current draw across fuses and relays to track down parasitic battery drains.

Mechanical Overhaul Steps

Hydraulic Brake Bleeding: Flushing old fluid and bleeding calipers from furthest to closest corner for a firm pedal.
Preventative Servicing: Oil, filters, spark plugs, belts, and coolant system inspection.
Component Replacement: Stripping worn suspension, braking, and auxiliary parts and torquing replacements to spec.
